Welcome BOISE STATE Runners!
You can view all our recent news and updates here!
The Boise State Track and Field Club is a competitive running club that gives all levels of athletes the opportunity to keep training and competing in a sport they love. Despite our growing size and success, we are always welcoming new members, of any ability, so come out and run with us! (It’s never too late to join!)
We compete in Cross Country in the Fall, Indoor Track in the Winter, and Outdoor Track in the Spring. We compete in meets alongside NCAA Division I, II, and III schools, as well as NAIA, community colleges, and other local club teams. And we are a member of the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA), where we compete in regional and national meets against other university club teams. Most of our meets are local, but we have traveled to Oregon, Washington, and even North Carolina to race! Learn more about our team by viewing our History.
Practices are held Monday-Friday at 4:00 pm for sprinters and 4:30pm for distance runners. We meet at the Rec Center, outside if it’s nice, in the lobby if it’s cold or raining! Most days are easy runs on the greenbelt or in the foothills, but workouts (tempos, fartleks, intervals, hills) are held on Mondays and Wednesdays. Here is a video with some info about the club.
